Cannot sign-in when using 2-Step Verification for sign-in account (Android version)

  • When 2-Step Verification is set for your sign-in account, you may have difficulty signing in after opening the Security Key notification message.
    If this occurs, please write down the Key code shown in the notification without opening the notification message, and enter it on the Security Key input screen of "Video & TV SideView".
    1. When you receive a Security Key notification, flick downward on the notification bar at the top of your screen to display the notification list.
    2. Write down the Security Key shown in the notification and close the notification list. Be careful not to open the message by tapping the notification, as you will not be able to enter the Key code.
    3. Return to the Security Key input screen and enter the Key code you wrote down previously to finish signing in.
    Tips
    When there are several other notifications in the notification list, it limits the space available for the Security Key notification, and may make it difficult to read the Key code. If this occurs, please clear any unnecessary notifications.
